Electronic construction set Boffin IV brings, in addition to assembling interesting projects, also the opportunity to learn programming with the Boffin app!
Build your project, download the Boffin app and control projects using your phone or tablet. Programming for beginners and advanced users in an app that's in English.
Do you want to learn PROGRAMMING? Do you know what ELECTRICITY is, how it's transmitted, how to make things move and how to control them?
You'll learn everything with the Boffin IV Coding electronic construction set, which contains more than 40 components, from which you can build and then program projects:
- car
- light show
- beacon
- generator
- automatic light
And more, over 20 projects, which are described in detail in the complete manual available for download at https://boffin.com/support
The basis of all projects is a board (in this case attached to the car), onto which individual components simply snap. The manual describes what the project should do and what to expect from it. After assembling the projects, pair the construction set with the Boffin app (this is done via part U33) and you can control the car through 3 modes - Command drive, Tank drive, Touch drive. You can download the app for free either on Google Play or the App Store (QR codes are included in the manual)
How to work in the app?
After clicking on the PROGRAMMING icon, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to start programming through OUTPUTS, CONTROL, MOVEMENT, TURNING. You can program where the car should go, how many times to turn, how the lights should light up, at what angle it will drive, and hundreds of other commands. More info available for download in the manual.
Programming offers 4 basic functions:
- Outputs - on part U3 for D1/D2/D3/D4/A
- Control
- Movement
- Turning
With the existing components, you can devise hundreds of additional projects that aren't described in the manual, or you can combine them with components and projects in other Boffin I and II construction sets.
Boffin II are themed construction sets that expand the possibilities of Boffin I sets with hundreds more projects.
Boffin II offers the possibility of connecting MP3 players, creating 3D images, memory games, speed, connecting planes and mini cars with construction sets
Components between Boffin I, Boffin II, Boffin III, Boffin IV and Boffin START are compatible and can be combined with each other.
